88 4Runner "Restoration"

Hey, this is my 1988 SR5 3.0 4Runner. I bought it four years ago. I've always wanted to lift it n stuff but every time I had the money something major went wrong with car. It is not time to start bringing this runner back to glory.

Your rear one is going the opposite direction of mine.

Alot of people dont keep up the maintenace as they should. Just stay after it little by little and you will get it bach up to where it should be. Great job getting all of the other damage staightened back out.

Nice job bro. Hey I read u also have a 3.0, what kind of milage are u getting on that thing. Mine is completely rebuilt but I've been having some vacuum hose and sensor problems so I've gone from 11mpg to 14mpg but I still gotta do a couple of things here and there to make it get the right mileage.

BTW what part of CA are u from. U obviously knew about the Wilmington junk yard me and Chefyota4x4 went to the other day.
Just curious cuz me and him have been thinking of making an off road trip with a couple of so cal YotaTech buddies. So if u are close enough maybe u might be able to come. Not sure for when yet though.

Put a Rancho steering stabilizer on, man this thing helps

So when I bought the car the rear seats worked by a L bar across the back holding the seats up and a piece of rebar with metal wire all ghetto rigged to hold the rear seats in place. It was terrible, I couldnt put up with it anymore and found a set of all the rear seat brackets on ebay for 90 freakin bucks, knowing I was getting ripped off I bought them so it could be done. Now trying to install them I found out I have 2nd gen seats.

So I guess I'll be using that L bar a little long till I figure it out.
