Done, running good, though slightly de-tuned at the moment it's got good power, easily pulled the rolling hills btwn Greenville & Atlanta in overdrive & cruise.
I've got 6ch EGT and the autometer 02 gauge (limited usefulness) and it's getting some EGTs in excess of 1400 when at higher RPMs and low throttle openings. Appears to me that this is the computer doing this and not a lack of fuel pressure or injector capability.
Under full throttle the temps will decrease, but when I back off the temp spikes.
I wonder if I can richen it up some with the AFM?
Megasquirt for the 3VZE time...

Make sure your brain is somewhere cool... I went thru 4 of them on warranty before I gave up. The only thing I could figure was it was overheating somehow.. I had it istnalled on the firewall near the battery..
A freind of mine had his near his radiator and it got cool air from outside, and went 200,000 miles... At my short point I got 10 days from one...

This thing is ripping. Ride from Atl to GV is up and down. Never could it haul it w/o some downshifts to hang the hills.
This time....it accellerated up the stepest hills and sufficient traffic that I couldn't hold it floored in 5th for more than 5-10sec before running out of room.
This thing hauls, for a 3.slow that is.
I have to get rid of this lean spot coming off the throttle around 3500rpm.
Another odd thing, it did the herky jerky like a TPS gone severely bad, but all thru it's range. Backed off the timing a little more and it felt like it got more power and never did the HJ again. I think the Jacobs has some detonation protection too.
I think it's high time to have a conversation about the Megasquirt for this motor.
Tell you this, it's never run this good, oh, and got 17mpg running 75-80.

I also ditched the center caps. Ya, big deal. So what...
I've had the darndest shake from these wheels, hard to chase.
I jacked it up and spun them at 60 and the wheels wobble, it's not much but you can see it, I know they spin true on the balancer. So I thought maybe the center caps are effecting alignment so I took them out.
Smooooth as silk now, not a shimmy anywhere.
For those of you with aftermarket wheels and shake try taking the center caps out.
