There were several models of 4Runner seats options
Mainly because - in the early years, rear seats were often a "port option" (it had to do with import tariffs)
So there were these "bench rear seat"t things out there
And some put the belt retractor on the roll bar
And some had "a static adjustable" shoulder belt and lap retractors (what I have added) with a detachable clip...
I'd be wary about using along bolt and flipping the retractor. Mainly because of leverage arm on the bolt.
But thats just me

Although I think some searching in the yard through other cars might find identical belts in some other Toyota model.

Ok I put 2 washers on there and it enables you to run it normal. Only spent $20 at the junkyard.

This was ages ago, but I think the washers space it out enough so you can flip it so the belt guide part doesn't contact the roll bar.
How does adding washers undo the twist? Wouldn't the belt need to flip? I just some front belts out of a 2nd gen and they are flipped like in this pic. I would rather they flow smooth. Do I just need to flip the belt? (But then the bolt bracket on the other end would be flipped and can't install). Help!
