Oh, I thought the difference in mini truck axles was short gusset and long gusset. Didnt know the 80's had no gusset. The powder coating does look really good man, at first I thought you did it yourself and threw it in the oven like Wab!

today i went on a part number search, i called my buddy at toyota and i was told that there are 12 or 13 different part numbers for a 1995 toyota tacoma 3.4 4x4 with a standard tranny. he also to me that i need a VIN number off of a truck like that to find an ecu part number, so does anyone have a truck like this that i can borrow a vin off of for ecu purposes?

The loom that is not for one of your ECM harnesses goes to the body harness of the vehicle. It is plug H in any Toyota diagrams that you find. This will be for gauges and such that the ECM does not need to control.

The part number for a Manual ECM is 89661 04130. I have one in the garage you can have for $75 shipped to your door. I bought it for my manual conversion but ended up needing a Runner ECM. So this one has just been sitting here.

There is a lot of good wiring info on this thread.

To get a look at how I handles the auto to manual ECM conversion you can check out the last page of my 3.4 swap thread here.

wow, i wish i would have know that before. just bought one on ebay... sorry man i wish i could have bought yours!

first, i wanna show you what we worked on at the shop today...

and this is the supercharger (looking through the hood of course...

1000 horse to the wheels, 1100 at the flywheel, low 9's in the quarter, but its built for the track.

anyway, i finally got to finish my axle! and will be doing the swap this weekend!

the axle had warn premiums so i sanded them down and gave them a fresh coat of flat black!
