Im assuming you have a 2wd? The shocks are over 20 years old, I'd bet money they are no good. I noticed a significant improvement putting new shocks on about a year ago. And a huge improvement replacing the leafs last week.

In the end it's a short wheelbase truck. They don't ride like caddys. Like mentioned earlier, having some weight in the bed helps.

yes it's a 2wd. yes the fronts are probably very old. the rears I'm not sure but doubt any longer than 5 yrs based on the test I did a few days ago.

Either way I should probably just replace all 4 shocks. wish I had the money to get some bilsteins !
