what setup for flex?
ive done some reading on the super flex springs and not exactly sure what I should get for my setup? I did a SAS on my 86 xcab and have been just road driving it so far with just some stock leaf springs. I plan to get some good shocks and want to get as much flex as possible. are the super flex springs I can order on Low Range a good option for that? and what size would be good for it...like a 3" or 4"? im running 35's now and will be upsizing to 37's soon and have 5:29s. basically just want best flex setup I can get and what shocks would ya recommend?

when I went to the rubicon last October, I was comparing my heavy 4runner to a very capable early shortbed Toyota pickup, that was running 40's, I think.
he needed fewer spring leaves all around, than what i'm having to run... I have chevy 63" rear leaves, which I believe meant that the previous owner had to relocate the rear spring mounts... people typically experiment with adding and removing leaves, to get the most flexibility vs. vehicle weight.
does your truck have relocated rear spring mounts? you may have to do that.

No the leaf mounts are in stock positions. I have it set up now with lifted rear leaf springs and swapped solid front axle with large shackles that helped push the front up a tad. But I was basically questioning whether I could put super flex springs on it and get good flex or if I actually had to reposition mounts and run Chevy leafs or what?

it starts getting pretty complicated, because one of your goals will probably be to have the front axle far forward enough to run big tires, without cutting into the wheel well sheet metal, if possible.
