W56 compatability question

Are all years of W56 bellhousings interchangeable and compatible with all years of 22re engines (so a W56 D will have no trouble mating to an earlier engine)?

Also, are pedal assemblies/clutch master and slave the same for all years of trucks that came with a 22re?

Thanks

yes and yes.

all you have to worry about are electronic speedo in later years (89+?) vs mechanical speedo in earlier ones. (86+)

Ok, thanks. I have the tranny, but I think maybe its bellhousing is a bit messed up. At least I'll have more options at the p&p.
