OEM sunroof or aftermarket.
I have an 85 4Runner that has a sunroof which appears to be plexiglass or lexan. Picked this up in Oregon back in 2005/06.
I picked up a sunroof off an 86 and it didn't fit. I'm being told there is only one sunroof size. This one appears to be different. Now the question is do I have an SR5 or not? It has power windows, sr5 seats, etc. but the sunroof is something that doesn't match the size of an 1st gen 4Runner.

Could have been special ordered without. Some people hate sunroofs. I had an 89 SR5 that had all options, but had the regular seats. I think it was ordered by someone with a big butt.
My panel is about 19" across, and I know it's stock.

that sun roof is 100% aftermarket . but the sun/moon roof was an option ..
so you still could have an SR5 .. all depends on the serial # .
I know this is true for the earlier models (79-83) , so don't quote me on this .. but the 7th letter depicts the model .. if it is an " S " .. then it is a SR5
