hydraulic pinion brake anyone done it
I have a 1985 mud truck with brakes gutted front and rear, last guy had heavy bumper, shut off and let the clutch out. I have seen pinion brakes on rockwells, didnt know if someone here tried. When i search pinion brake or drive line brake it splits words and get crazy results

The Sky's kit I have is all mechanical. I haven't seen any hyd pinion kits for Toy axles. Not saying they don't exist, just done a lot of searching.
In theory, you could use the mechanical brakes for stopping. They're supposed to be for parking, but you have a lot of leverage there. I just don't know how long the parts would hold up. And you'd have to do a lot of adjusting with them, as there's no adjustment for wear outside of the linkage.
I'd probably just put stock brakes back on it. What axles are you running?
