84 22r synthetic oil break in

So i just got a rebuilt 22r and took it to a guy who put everything in for me and i was looking around at break in instructions and noticed not to use synthetic oil to break it in i didn't check this until about 100 miles or so and he said that he ran synthetic from the beginning so am i pretty much screwed that piston rings wont seat or can i run dino and make it break in

is it using any oil?

100 miles is not much you maybe ok.

imo, just switch to dino and run that for a few thousand miles and hope for the best.

Change your oil and filter. Put in non-synthetic and monitor your oil consumption.

Warm up the engine, then go find a big mountain and drive up it at full load, full throttle.
