3.8 swap
I have read that guys swap the buick 3.8 or 3800 motors into the the toyotas. Anyone delt first hand with this? how difficult of a swap is it? Or what swaps do you guys recommend? I am kind of on a budget dont want to go too extreme and dont wanna do a 3.4 toyota motor as those motors are kinda pricey. What I am gettin at is I really dont wanna do too much body lift.

I hate to be the one to say it but search...
I know there have been threads discussing this swap and other GM V6's. From what i recall the swap is easy compared to others. Check with advance adapters. They should have some info about your possibilities as far as the swap is concerned.

Hey sr5,
The 3800I, II, III, Buick motor is stronger, more reliable (IMO) and has made the "Wards" top ten worlds best engine list 3 times.
More then 20 million have been produced. Which makes them CHEAP.
The most expensive part You'll need is the Novak T-5 to large Aisin trans pattern, adapter. Assuming You'll be going Manual trans.
