Weber Carb Choke issue...

So I just got done rebuilding my 20r and weber also.. I rebuilt the weber first got everything working manual choke pull worked then I pulled the motor to rebuild it now I can't get the choke to engage with the wire.. I was wondering if you can go from manual choke to electric choke? If this doesn't make sense I can make video to get more help.

So you're trying to convert a manual choke to an electric choke or is the manual choke not working?

You'd have to get and install the whole electric choke mechanism. Do you push in the gas pedal while you pull out the choke? I'm not 100% sure if you have to do that on all Webers, but I know I do on mine. If I don't push the gas while engaging the choke, it won't fully open.

Is the choke cable installed properly? If you have the cheap one that comes with the Weber, sometimes it can get kinked and hard to pull. You can also clamp the cable housing down too tie on the carb and cause the wire inside to get pinched so it won't pull properly.
