Truck to trailer conversion Project
Hi,
Soon I'll be starting to convert an 81 pickup with a camper shell into a trailer. I'll post pics on here and give a basic overview of the process. If anyone wants the cab, interior, engine(not currently running but was running before I touched distributor), or other misc parts please pm me.
Suggestions are welcome too.

Im in Modesto CA. Im currently looking for a location to do the work.
I'll ship any part i can but at cost of the shipping so ill get a quote first to let you know.

Cab is yellow and i cant ship it so local pickup only and also once i remove it if i dont have a buyer im scrapping it.
Engine is a 22r not the re and is an 85 have no idea of the miles on it and needs a rebuild most likely.
any questions pm me.

Yah even tho it needed $2200 to get it running from a shop as I didn't have time to work on it and get it to pass smog, I absolutely love driving it.
It needed a new carb new master brake cylinder new radiator vacuum lines fixed and some electrical work. Parts were just under $1200, labor $1000.

I am too. But now I need to rebuild the tranny as first gear synchro is out, it is a w52 5speed. I kinda want to upgrade it to a w58 5speed or put in different gear ratios for better towing and climbing capabilities, any suggestions?
