Need Help with throwout bearing
Hey, just picked up a 78 2wd pickup, it needed a clutch. i got it all apart and saw that the Throwout bearing had dismantled itself and was allover the place bent the pressure plate fingers in on themselves and broke the clips that hold the sleeve to the clutch fork and made the sleeve start spinning and wore down the fork and i can go on. well i got all the parts to fix it my only problem is that my clutch kit only came with the bearing part of the throwout bearing and i didnt get the sleeve that the bearing is pressed on to and attaches to the fork, i was under the impression that those were all one piece but the auto part store guy said otherwise. after a long time on the phone nobody can seem to locate the sleeve for me toyota says its unavailable and thus i turn to yotatech, does anybody know where i can get one or has one i can buy from them i need to get one ASAP because i ship out april6 next tuesday and i need to have it back together before then so my bro cant drive it while im gone. please pm me if you have any info
plate under the hood says its a w50 tranny and the truck was made aug of 78(autoparts guy says the switched the TOB in 8 of 78 so idk)
THANKS
Alex
