Big brake questions...

I searched through alot of posts and got a couple how toos. My questions are that theres a T100 2wheel drive 92 thats has a master and a booster, will those work for the conversion? Im trying not to buy new if I can save the money. cause I need to rebuild the axle too so figured Id do it all at once. I found some cailpers at the junkyard 50 for the pair. still need rotors but there cheap enough to buy new.

i do not know about the t100 stuff, but i know a booster (dual diaphram) from a turbo 4runner will pretty much bolt up and give you twice the brake assist. it sounds like that's what you are after.

you need wheel spacers for V6 calipers but the V6 master bolts up and you just need to bend the lines to fitin to it the FJ80 booster takes some mods nut not to sure I know my stock booster with V6 master works pretty good now jsut need to install my V6 calipers and rear drums

the dual diaphram booster in in all the v6 model 4 runners an trucks. Some if your lucky to find have the spacer so its direct bolt on some dont so you'll have to modify your steering column linkage if you have the u joint at the fire wall. Otherwise you can get a single diaphram booster which was originally in there with the spacer plate and bolt right up. The t100 master will work as long as its a non-ABS system.

problem is the stud length on the boosters .. they are NOT long enough to "space" the booster from the firewall , for clearance from the steering u-joint , and the clutch master .

I got around this by using a 84 2wd steering shaft , with /99 DD booster and /99 clutch master ..

K well I can work on the shaft and booster a little later... im very unsure about my brakes and I just want them working as good as stock or better and If I can do that by upgradeing everything but the booster then ill do that.
