1981 22R California 4x4 Smog Vacuum Diagram Question
Hey Guys,
I have what the title implies, which I'm the 2nd owner (bought in 1993) I just redid all the vacuum lines as I was having issues passing smog. I needed a carb rebuild, egr cleaning and I put in all new vacuum lines, bypassing the 2 4 line gangs as they leaked.
So, my ACV (helps control the smog pump valves) has 2 vacuum lines the go to the front and rear VCV valves on the passenger fender well. These are wired directly, but when I plug the line from the rear most ACV outlet the the front VCV (as per the vacuum diagram), it runs poorly. If I swap front to rear, runs much better. Anyone have the definitive answer as to how these should be connected?
