Great pics Doug I am sure you have more..but that last one was great!! Too bad that was when i was sitting in my broken down truck in the rain.

Just for a recap of my rig break down...Right before tha obsticle that everyone is coming down in that great last picture, I lost power to the whole vehicle. Of course it happens when it is my turn to make it up. Well with the help of everyone around we found out it was the ground wire from the neg term on the battery to the finder was broke. Well Andy from Michigan patched it up, and i am on my way...after the JEEPERS ...I make it up pretty easily, for a stock runner, and get started moving a way and hit a bump and lose it again we tak about 10-15min to diagnose it to no end except we know it has no spark . My kids and i hitch a ride from Andy and Leslie and go up and eat lunch. I hitch a ride back down with Doug and Darcie to see if i can fiqure out something more, while the rest of the group goes up the rest of the trail.
Well by the time we get there its raining pretty good and i am to pissed to work in the rain so i just sit there and watch for them to come back. by the time they get back the rain stops and we try again to fix it and find out that the EFI fuse is blown(thanks Doug), replace it, and it starts right up. So i get going and drive a few hundred feet and it blows again. We do this about 3-4 times and just decide to pull me out(thanks again Andy). Doug winches me down the last obsticle ( thanks again Doug and Darcie) and while i wait i look under the trucl and see another ground wire lose so i fix that and try again. We do the fuse thing a I am able to make it up to the leaders at the bottom. Well we get headinga back from there and the fuse blows again about 1/4 mi down the road. So back to the pulling. We i am fumin at this time and just want to get back to camp and work on it so i can get my kids home. However thanks to everyone's help and Anna and Doug talking sense into me we left it in Fairplay in front of the NAPA store and went back to camp.
Get up the next morning and me and Andy brainstorm and think of the things we could have missed, MTgoat had is factory manuels there and we looked at them(thanks MTgoat) and what we figured out made sense, So we packed up all my stuff into Andy and Leslie's rig what was left over went into Ric and Eddie's rig and the kids and I got a ride from Brian and one(Forgot how to spell it) and head to fairplay with new vigor.
Well what we planned on didn't happen the few tricks we came up with didn't work and there was a storm brewing over head. Just as i was trying something new a guy puls up in a blazer and says he has a 4x4 shop right around the corner and we can pull it in there to work on it. GREAT!!
The guys name is Jet and owns Jets mountain service and custom 4X4 in fairplay, and is #5 in the national ranking!! talk about luck!! well wework on it for about 2-3 hours and Jet lets us scavange parts off the Toyotas he has around and gets some parts to try like a coil and igniter he helps us try and diagnoss it and we still can't find out what is wrong. Well we are about to try something new when i remember that my 4x4 light never came on, so i go under the truck just to see and find out that i have a small harness pinched between the header and frame and it is fryed. WE have found the problem!! we borrow Jets lift and Andy being the sparky he is fixes it up right and off we go..

I owe a big thanks to the following...
Everyone at CO4RJ for all the help and ideas.
The group on the trail for staying around.
John and Anna for doing a great job of keeping everyone to gether on the run.
Doug and Darcie for the many things along the way
Ric and Eddie for the lift for the kids while i was going bakc down and take some of my stuff.
Brian and one for watching the kids and taking us and the radio and staying with us all the way down.
Andy and Leslie for ALL the work and lifts and tape, wire brains and space too put stuff and......
and a special thanks to Jet for openning up his shop and all the stuff..If any one is up in that area stop by and say hi to him and check out his comp toyotish rig 100 Platt Dr right behind the NAPA store. He said he is always there for the fellow wheeler.
And anyone else that i may have forgot due to stress.

Brandi,
i dont know how many times i have said "we have a great group of people " and this just proves my point one more time, at no time was any one going to be left on the trail, the kids were taken care of and the rig got fixed..yea Jett was a blessing,

that was the most challenging trail for me/us to date, we loved it, and looking for more well here are a few teaser pics from our camera
