Gold Mountain Road / John Bull. Big Bear CA

Starting to be a once a weekend thing

So I got invited to a John Bull run (yes the same John Bull the FJ trail Teams got stuck on), Knowing that it is one of the toughest trails around San bernadino I gave it a second thought..But then said screw it and whats the worst that could happen..

Big Bear on the Way up.

Well we ran gold mountain which was a shortish moderate trail leading to John Bull, I didnt get many action pics of the taco but I think the other guys got some..

Gold Mountain :
Second obstacle

Then we came across this guy, In a 90something WJ with a broken rear D35, Wheeling alone, No spare axle parts, No cb..

After 2 hours of getting him a mile down the hill to the pavement we were back onto the trail, An hour later we hit John bull, And whats known as the "Gates Keeper"

See the rock on the right, It was apparently verrrry pissed off as it was taking out people crap left and right..
And half of the rear part of my bed (Im honestly going to chalk it up to crappy spotting, Cause I had way alot of room on my drivers side that my spotter failed to let me know, And also failed to let me know my bed was going to tear into the rock)..
Those pictures will come tomorrow when its daylight..

Rockwells GTFO..

Some Random Xj that was there..

Good day overall, After the lift its time to start a bed bob..

Chris wheres yo pics ?

No problem I just thought I'd let you know since you were talking about 33's today. Oh and don't forget Chicks Dig Body Damage. You may want to consider the removal of that sticker it may be a curse.

Scoooobs, don't use that dude as a spotter again! If you have to, get out and eye ball the line/lines yourself! That dude needs to get some lasik surgery!!!!!

there is nothing wrong with 33x12.5's. IMO
ALso get rid of that sticker. Im searching for some "stufflbuffout" stickers.

(thats not exactly what the sticker says, but you get the idea)

Damn that is some poor spotting, although with some half doors you could've seen how close you were and made it through better hahah jk man don't worry about the body damage, it adds character and actually shows ya use your truck ...you should see my passenger's side bed... lol
